Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) decided that teachers in whole country should be trained with releted degree. From year 2019, these teachers are not able to teach in thier schools. This is also applicable for private school teachers. So, MHRD has started D.El.Ed. course for such teachers. So, NIOS give you oppertunity for register to this course. Here is complete guide how to register to this system.
-  D.El.Ed. programme is a specifically designed package for inservice untrained teachers working in primary/ upper primary schools of different states of the country. The programme has been developed by the Academic Department, NIOS on the initiative of Ministry of MHRD, Govt. of India, keeping in view the NCF 2005, RTE 2009 and NCFTE 2010.

■ Which teachers have to do D.El.Ed. degree ?

- As per rule, Teachers in Std. 1 to 8 must be trained teachers for education.
- Lower primary teacher (Std. 1 to 5) should have 50% in standard 12th & degree of D.El.Ed. certifite by NTCE.
- Upper primary teachers (Std. 6 to 8) should have 50% in standard 12th & degree of B.Ed. No need of D.El.Ed. for them.
- If lower primary teacher did B.Ed. then they have to complete D.El.Ed. bridge course of 6 months.
